Audax Alpine Classic

Classic mountain ride in the Victorian Alps with around 40 years of history, now organised by Audax Victoria and one of Australia’s toughest one-day rides. The 200 km loop with around 4,200 m of climbing goes from Bright over Tawonga Gap to Falls Creek, back over Tawonga Gap and then up Mount Buffalo. In 2026 it returned to the calendar as a non-competitive Audax brevet with a 100-rider cap; shorter 130 and 70 km options are being considered for 2027.
