Battle on the Beach

Billed as the UK’s biggest off-road cycle race, held in Pembrey Country Park and on Cefn Sidan beach in South Wales. Each lap starts with 5 km of bunch riding on the firm sand before crossing the dunes onto single- and doubletrack through the forest; in 2026 the race was three laps totalling about 45 km. All types of bike are allowed, and the evening before there is the “Battle in the Dark” time trial.
