Mountain bike race and festival in California’s Sierra Nevada, one of the last point-to-point races in the USA. The cross-country race covers 26.5 miles from Sierra City up to the Sierra crest and then drops around 5,700 ft into Downieville, with a creek crossing and the Third Divide trail. Together with the Downieville Downhill it forms the “All Mountain World Championships”; the race regularly sells out and proceeds go to the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship.
