Traditional 235 km touring ride on Whit Monday through the eleven cities of Friesland, starting and finishing in Bolsward. For more than 100 years around 15,000 participants have ridden it in 23 start groups that set off at eight-minute intervals between 5 and 8 a.m.; there is no timing, instead riders must collect stamps at every checkpoint and be back by midnight. In 2027 the ride celebrates its 115th anniversary; places are allocated by ballot.
