Uruguayan GFNY stop in the UNESCO World Heritage town of Colonia del Sacramento on the Río de la Plata. The long route covers 125 km and 900 m of climbing on the rolling Ruta 21 through fields, olive groves and vineyards; the climb at the Río San Juan (km 36) usually splits the field, and the coastal wind often plays a part. The medium route is 87 km (670 m).
