New GFNY stop in eastern Uruguay, starting and finishing in the village of Pueblo Garzón in the hinterland of José Ignacio, scheduled for the summer holiday season in early January. The timed long route reaches the coast at Las Garzas, follows Ruta 10 along the Atlantic for 34 km and returns inland via the climb on Camino Medellín; between km 105 and 120 come rollers of up to 5%. The medium route stays inland and is not ranked. The inaugural edition announced for 3 January 2027 is no longer on the GFNY calendar; the website and Race Finder now give 4 January 2028.
