The "Gran Fondo of Patagonia" on the Ruta de los Siete Lagos (RN40), with around 3,000 participants, part of the UCI Gran Fondo World Series for the first time. The direction changes every year; in 2026 it ran from San Martín de los Andes to Villa La Angostura, plus a short time trial on Saturday.
