Il Lombardia

The "race of the falling leaves" is the last Monument of the season and the hardest for climbers. The route through the hills around Lake Como and Bergamo takes in climbs such as the Madonna del Ghisallo, the cyclists' chapel. The start and finish regularly alternate between Como and Bergamo.
