Two-day MTB marathon held since 1993, by its own account the biggest and most traditional in Latin America, starting and finishing in the historic centre of Mariana in Minas Gerais. Riders tackle marked courses through the mountains around Mariana and Ouro Preto, with times from both days added together; elite, amateurs, pairs (including mixed) and e-MTB race on a long (A) and a shorter (B) course. Friday brings a social programme, and every rider donates food for the town’s social projects.
