The best-known cycling marathon in the Alps: from Sölden over the Kühtai, Brenner, Jaufen Pass and Timmelsjoch back into the Ötztal, with sections in South Tyrol. Places for the roughly 4,000 participants are in high demand; the race, which climbs as high as 2,474 m, is regarded as a benchmark for ambitious amateur riders.
