Extremely mountainous cycling marathon in Valais linking holiday resorts (stations). The "Ultrafondo The Everest" packs 8,848 m elevation – the height of Mount Everest – into 241 km; shorter routes go down to the mediofondo (77 km, 3,000 m elevation). In 2027 the event celebrates its 10th anniversary.
