Mountain ride through the Rocky Mountains held since 1988, from Evergreen to the Vail Valley (Avon) over three well-known Colorado passes. The Triple covers 120 miles and around 10,450 ft of climbing, the shorter Double 80 miles; there are aid stations and mountain passes closed to cars. Not a race, but timed; a large share of the proceeds goes to charitable projects.
